I don´t think I have put any pictures here of our little town, or Oaxaca. So, here goes a couple.

Sta. Maria el Tule, this is the little town we live in. Famous for its Tule tree (shown at right). It is supposedly the widest tree in the world.

This is Mitla about 35 minutes east of our house.

This place makes me think of maybe how the disciples felt leaving the empty tomb.

Expectation, fear, joy!

Monte Alban. About an hour Northwest of us.

Santo Domingo Ex-Convent (now History of Mexico Musuem) downtown Oaxaca.

Piedra Grande near Llano Grande in the Mountains 1 and 1/2 hour to the north east of us.

Puerto Escondido 6 very windy hours south of us. In 2010 there will be a new highway that will get us there in 3 hours! Yeah!

So, as you can see, we are blessed by God´s beauty all around Oaxaca. It is beautiful. These are just a few reasons I call it Home Sweet Home.
